Melissa Ta started her path to Yoga in 2010. After her Father’s death, Melissa was seeking peace and healing in her life. She started practicing yoga and meditation, and soon later in 2011 she was certified at Peachtree Yoga Center in Sandy Springs, GA where she earned her 200 HR RYT. She went on to earn her RPYT from Wombwise and Etowah Valley Yoga in 2016 to focus on women’s wellness with an emphasis on fertility in women and men.
She started teaching her first classes with the U.S. Army where she worked as a contractor and continued teaching when she was transferred to Ogden, Utah to Hill Air Force Base. She also became versed in Ashtanga Yoga. Melissa has also taken several courses in Yoga Therapy I and II, from Carrie Coppola of Mudita Yoga in Salt Lake City, Utah. She has also practiced and studied under Graham Fowler of Atlanta, Ga at Peachtree Yoga Center, Bryan Kest, Mitchel Bleier, Seane Corn, Kathy Needham, and D’ana Baptiste.
Melissa’s passion is women’s wellness and in early January 2018, she will launch Omnatal, which is her signature platform for all things women’s wellness. From fertility to becoming a mother, to dealing with teenagers, and even understanding your Pelvic Floor! It is a one stop website for women that covers a lot of ground in physical and emotional women’s health.
Melissa’s classes bring out the truth in who we are and the journey that unfolds as we are finding the truth. It is not an easy path, but if we answer the call to who we really are then the path is revealed. She is a wife, and mother of 2 amazing children, Alyssa and Jacob. Melissa also loves to run, hike, play music, mountain bike and paint.
